Elle Pervez Original Artwork

Elle grew up in a creative family between a farm in rural New South Wales and remote communities in the Northern Territory. This inspires her a love for the vast and ever-changing Australian landscape, which is a strong influence in her art practice. She uses a combination of brush and palette knife, fusing acrylic on canvas, and every now and again, a glimpse of metallic gold leaf in order to create a lush and unique mixed media work. Elle’s paintings are all about conjuring a sense of connectedness to the land, using colour and shape to evoke emotion, memory and a sense of place. She hopes that her paintings will add colour to the homes they live in and bring happiness to all those who see them.
