Poppy's vibrant work, primarily rendered in acrylic on canvas, is organic and largely intuitive, drawing inspiration from the sheer vibrancy of colour which flows naturally from her creative process.
"My techniques are often risky, as there's only so much you can do to control the flow of paint. I love the 'perfect imperfections' in my work. I enjoy breaking the colour 'rules' and taking advantage of complementary colours."
Poppy's unique style features playful graphic elements alongside colourful drips and splatters. She masterfully juxtaposes clean lines with large, intuitive strokes, creating a joyful explosion of colour and texture that exudes positive energy.
"The sole purpose of my art is to bring colour and joy into people's lives," says Poppy, encapsulating the essence of her artistic practice.
