Painting Description

The joy of play and the freedom of mark making created this piece. Many layers of colour building, working over the top and learning to not be scared of loosing a section of detail as the new marks would be of different interest. Trust the hand and await the new image to appear. Working with a roller on the final layers created a smoothing effect as the paint took on a new texture. An ocean with rolling waves onto the shore line appeared and i was taken to a foreign land.
